The neighborhood plants continue to put on a color show! Tomorrow I leave to spend Mother's Day with my mom in Los Angeles, so I'll bring you some coastline color from that trip.
The brilliant gold-red flowers above are lantana, which love our desert climate. I believe the pink flowers below are on a desert willow tree.
The purple flowers are on a jacaranda tree.
The yellow is more lantana, but I don't know what the purple behind it is.
