Moving signs

The moving and unpacking seems endless, but today a friend dropped by with a house warming sign about chocolate! (The same friend who gave me that giant bag of chocolate chips.) I hung it in the kitchen alcove right beside my desk where it's visible from the kitchen, entry and living room.

And a few days ago, another friend gave me this great refrigerator magnet about cake. Both signs are so true.

When I get overwhelmed with all the schlepping and sorting, I take a break and look at the view outside and know that it's all worth it. Inside's not bad either, with these fantastic cubby shelves that were built in by a previous owner in the bedroom. I'm slowly filling them with sweaters and shoes and other good stuff. They'd be perfect for fabric except that I won't be sewing in that room.

Have a colorful weekend

It can't last forever... the moving, I mean! And I do love your view! How close are you to the water? And I covet the chocolate sign! I may have to make one myself... it's a great motto, and soooo true!

The chocolate sign is hilarious! Perfect for your kitchen (and everywhere else in the house chocolate may be hiding).
