It's been rainy and gray for awhile in the Pacific Northwest, so I went on a beach walk at low tide to see what color I could find. Basically, I found a lot of gray and green and one orange jelly fish.
Our beach is rocky and the water cold. |
Jelly draped over mooring lines that are underwater at high tide. |
Barnacles cling to these rocks. |
Have a colorful day

Wow... your greens are really green! And I love the rocks and the jellyfish, but not the gray! Sounds like good weather to stay in the studio and pull out the bright, cheery fabrics!
Hi Sherrie,
I'm in Aberdeen,WA so I doubly enjoy your posts. That is one amazing jellyfish!! I love green and grey - and we have many, many overcast days here in Grays Harbor - so I am a happy camper (except on hot days!)
I love your work, and one day I will travel to take a workshop from you. In the meantime, thanks for a wonderful blog and for inspiration for my day's sewing!
Best,
Liz

Sherrie - I never know about when email addresses show to the blogger and when they don't!!!

Thanks for your reply!
We just had the 5-minute siren/tsunami warning for 10/16 - a little rattling to have the siren go for so long, even knowing it was "Just a warning!"
Hope your day is wonderful!
