Fifty Shades of Grey ... Right Outside My Window!
It's been grey, grey, grey, with more of the same forecast for the rest of the week. (This is why the books were set in Seattle, and no I didn't read them and I'm not going to see the movie!)
i had an art teacher in college back in the 80's assign us the task to do a still life in greys without using black and white paint(and my first acrylic paint learning). that was a pivotal day in my artlife! i shall send you some Color now!
Right there with you - I'm in Aberdeen - Grays Harbor County!! Ha - newcomers think it is so named for the sky color! Thankfully, while I like all colors, grey is very pleasing to me - all that glorious subtlety.
I am a quilt artist and journalist living in Tucson, AZ, after 12 years in the Pacific Northwest preceded by shorter stints all around the country. I started this blog as a way to keep in touch with other fabric artists but soon started weaving in threads about colorful places, people, food, wildlife and anything else that might bring color to your world. Your blog comments are most welcome. Thank you for visiting.

And you are not alone. Saw this pic from WI - slightly more stunning, but still very grey. At least you don't have the ice! http://tinyurl.com/ks43jzq
Just a few more weeks until you come to Red Rock country, right? Got any pix from the past 2 years you can look at until then? See ya soon!
