Great collection! I especially relate to the one about having to cook... I'm trying to bust out of my "Same s___t, different day" menu, and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack to figure out something that will taste good, not have a million calories, and absolutely cannot have vinegar in it(hubby won't eat vinegar)! And it helps if it doesn't take 2 hours to prepare...
Great post! I especially like the coffee memes. We are bracing for the autumn here where it rains a bit everyday. The water rolls down the mountains to flood the creek than runs along the front of our property. The locals tell us that we may be flooded in for a bit. I am preparing by collecting pounds of coffee and creamer. I am confident that I can't survive without coffee. xx, Carol
I am a quilt artist and journalist living in Tucson, AZ, after 12 years in the Pacific Northwest preceded by shorter stints all around the country. I started this blog as a way to keep in touch with other fabric artists but soon started weaving in threads about colorful places, people, food, wildlife and anything else that might bring color to your world. Your blog comments are most welcome. Thank you for visiting.
