Sunday reflections

Bunners is dwarfed by our garden carrots.
Could it really have been this warm and sunny and bursting with life just two months ago? Today we hung little white icicle lights all around the inside of our house because it's cold and dark by 4:30.

I came across these photos as I looked up something else, and now I'm reflecting on that light. It seems like years ago that our sunflowers and beans were in bloom, but the photo file confirms it was only September, two months ago.

Have a colorful week

Time flies, and the weather changes! We have at least 4 inches of snow in our yard, and the peaks are covered. But the sun is shining brightly today, and the stars were twinkling this morning when I got up. Sedona's coming... it'll be here before you know it! :-D

What a fabulous pic of bunners - the composition, perspective and contrast make it more than just another pic of your cute bunny.

And oh - how I love that brilliant sunflower. It is rather hard to believe this brilliance existed such a short time ago. Hang in there - pics like these and the acceptance that all of life expands and contracts and we are in a contracted period right now (which is not necessarily a bad thing) will help to get us through. That, and a quick trip to New Mexico... ;-)
