Sedona

Sedona, beautiful Sedona!
Weather forecast: sunny and 79 degrees!

We pulled into town yesterday, and today I walked around the neighborhood and took a few pictures. No matter which way you look in this Arizona town, you get postcard views of the famous red rocks and blue sky.

The soaring red rocks contrast nicely
with the scrubby evergreens below.

A few houses down from us,
I spotted my first cactus blooms of the trip.

One of my arrival rituals is setting up the sewing machine on a folding table that we bring from home. I always put it in this sunny corner of the living room. Another ritual is to make a Jelly Roll 1600 quilt, so that probably will be my first project. But for now, I'm just going to enjoy that sun. (It's raining back in Gig Harbor.)

Have a colorful day

What wonderful views of AZ! I love that country even the barren desert. It's not that barren is it!
