This is where I live. This is why I'm thinking of moving to Tucson instead of buying here (I'm renting now). This is why this comic is so apropos.

It isn't a whole lot better in Port Townsend.
Yikes! So glad we were able to move here. When we sold our little bungalow back in 2002 in CA the price was ginormous, and a good indicator that we would not be able to stay there after I retired. I have fingers crossed you will be able to find a place down south when you come to look!
Well it's definitely time to Get Outta Town! I'm sure you will find a less expensive place to be. We just went through that house hunting search.
