I'm falling behind on quilt reports.
Here's the latest on Comfort Quilt Day
and the Gig Harbor Quilters.
They always give me the bright colors to work with at our Comfort Quilt Day, so I took the blocks for this one (above) to finish at home and get its photo on my front porch.
Here are some more gorgeous ones that were brought in last month to donate to cancer patients.
From Comfort Quilt Day to selling tickets for the Gig Harbor Quilter's guild raffle quilt, all the action took place at the Harbor Quilt shop. The next photos show fun stuff our guild is raffling off. Instead of one big raffle quilt, for $1 you get a chance to win two kids bug quilts, bug pillows, stickers, story books and a boa made from the leftover red fuzzy backing on one of the quilts. Such a bargain!
Here's me with the ever energetic Pat, who made the bug quilts, pillows, boa ...
She finishes a lot of her quilts with these fun loops:
She made this fabric bowl and filled it with fabric fortune cookies that she gave to everyone who bought a raffle ticket. She even made her pincushion ring. Like I said, she's energetic.
I hope you find some inspiration here.
Have a colorful day

Comfort is the key word for all these delightful pieces. Who wouldn't feel good with all the color and designs. Hey, those loops were interesting. Good use for those small pieces.
