Cancer Comfort Quilts on Earthbongo!

Go Gena!

My friend Gena picked this bright quilt made by our Gig Harbor Comfort Quilt Project when she started chemo. She just finished the treatments and is busy embracing life. Please send her your good thoughts!

Also, I was invited to be a guest blogger for earthbongo.com, and I'm excited to announce that they just published my article about the Comfort Quilt Project. You can read about it here:

I hadn't heard about earthbongo until I got an invitation to become involved after one of their interns (a new quilter) found my blog. It's based in Seattle, and its goal is to "create the world you want one project at a time." So my project for earthbongo was to tell people how they could start their own Comfort Quilt group or become involved in the Gig Harbor one. We'll see if it ripples out.

Have a colorful day
