Tonight is a BLUE MOON!
Since I love weather and any other sky goings on, I thought I should whip out a blue moon quilt tonight. But I'm feeling lazy, so I just went through some of my old quilt photos and pulled out a few that are or could -- with a little imagination -- be blue moons. (A blue moon is the second full moon within the same month.)

A fabric postcard that I made -- UFO in front of a blue moon? |

Well, it could be a square blue moon. |
Now I'm just finding blue quilts in the archives -- no moon here. |
I keep going outside to try to find the moon, but it's not out yet. My daughter said it's already out in Chicago -- no fair.
Here's the sky at 7:30 p.m. over our house. |
And here it is from our lucky neighbors' yard. |
Have a colorful, blue moon night

Our moon was somewhere behind all the remnants of Isaac, so I just enjoyed yours. I really liked the "Under the Blue Moon" one. Thanks for posting.
How fun seeing your various moon and blue quilts. Our blue moon was struggling to be seen through a this layer of clouds. Judi spotted the eerie glow and we decided it was either the blue moon or a ufo - lol We howled softly and mournfully because it was not a fully exposed blue moon. Oh well, haven't we seen one already this year? This was an awesome year for sky events.
I didn't get to see a blue moon-- too cloudy so this was wonderful!
