November color block


November was many shades of gold and brown, with swaths of glowing orange trees and more blue skies than I expected. I sewed everything down with yellow-orange thread.

i look forward to your each month's composition. What a wonderful prompt to make colorful fabric art! How long have you been making these? Do they end in in a cloth diary of the year quilt?
i love this concept!
i just might have to assign myself this colorful project in 2019!!

Well, I'm an 'earth' person so your colors for this month are perfect. love seeing them all together...can't wait to see addition of December!

Sonja -- I started making these monthly blocks in January as a way to get through the dark winter. At the end of the year I plan to make them into a quilt, although I also like your idea of a cloth diary.
